What are the expected results and how long do they last?

Immediately following the treatment, you will notice some redness but this will lessen over the next day or so. The 5-6 days following the treatment your skin will be dry and have texture similar to sandpaper. As your skin exfoliates this roughness will disappear revealing fresher, clearer skin. Once the redness is gone, clients often see immediate and long-lasting results. Many of our clients see significant results within a few days. A more aggressive treatment may require slightly more recovery time.

Have questions about our laser treatment? Here are a few of the most common questions we receive.

  • How does the treatment feel?

    During the laser treatment, you may experience slight warmth and tingling sensations, but discomfort is minimal, and we may apply numbing cream before the procedure to ensure your maximum comfort level, depending on the depth of treatment.

  • How long before I see results?

    Depending on the depth of treatment, healing time can last up to a week, but most of our patients see optiomal results within 2-5 days. 

  • How long does the treatment take?

    A treatment takes about 20 minutes.

  • How long is the downtime?

    There will be some visible redness right after treatment, which should subside by the following day when makeup can be worn, but you will be able to immediately resume your normal activities.

  • How many treatments will I need?

    To maintain a youthful glow and prevent future skin damage, 3 treatments and yearly follow up treatments are recommended. Your provider will work with you to find the best treatment regimen based on the results you are trying to achieve.
