Common Side Effects

Some patients may experience nausea, constipation, reflux, decreased appetite, bloating, or fatigue, especially when starting treatment or increasing the dose. We adjust dosing carefully to help improve tolerability.

Semaglutide requires a medical consultation before treatment. Individual results vary and Semaglutide is not appropriate for everyone. GLP-1 consultations are $50 and are limited to 15 minutes. These visits are exclusively for discussing, dosing, and GLP-1 related questions. They do not include a comprehensive functional medicine evaluation, review of multiple medical conditions, laboratory interpretation, hormone management, or development of a functional medicine treatment plan.

If additional medical concerns or functional medicine issues are addressed during the visit, or if additional time is required beyond the scheduled 15 minutes, the appointment will be converted to a standard functional medicine consultation. Current fees are $595 for new patients and $475 for established patients.
